WHAT IS PLANTING MEMORIES
Hospice Alliance is offering “Planting Memories,” an event designed for children and teenagers (ages 18 and under) who have experienced loss. In addition to activities and refreshments, guests will decorate a terra cotta pot and plant a flower to take home in memory of their loved one.

WHY ARE WE HOSTING PLANTING MEMORIES
Hospice Alliance understands the challenges that children and teens face when experiencing loss. This event provides the opportunity to normalize their feelings in a safe and fun environment by celebrating the lives of their loved ones.

At Hospice Alliance, we understand the importance of the grief process and the important role we play with caregivers and families of our patients. We offer a wide variety of grief services from individual consultations to group sessions. As part of its mission of serving the community, Hospice Alliance opens its grief support services to the entire community. If you or someone you know is going through a loss, our Bereavement Team is available to provide services, regardless of whether the bereaved had a patient with Hospice Alliance.
